How to Read the AION 2 Pet Map

The AION 2 pet map below covers 66 named zones across 2 region maps, and 151 pets have map markers. Every number on a marker is a count of pets with a documented soul source in that zone, filtered by the family you choose. Open a zone to see the pet portraits and jump to each pet's page for monster levels, effects and the soul path.

Levels you see on pet pages are the record levels of the monsters, not a minimum character level, so check that your character can fight the spawn before you plan a route. If a zone is crowded, switch to another zone listed for the same pet. For the system behind the souls, read the pet farming map guide and how pet souls work. To find one specific pet, use the pet locator.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Which regions have an AION 2 pet map?

The community records provide area maps for Verteron and Altgard. Pets whose sources are in Chaotic Lower Reshanta, Morheim or Eltnen have no map markers, so use the zone names on their pet pages instead.

Q: Do the markers show exact spawn points?

No. A marker is a zone, and the number on it is how many pets have a documented source in that zone. The red dots on a single pet's map are spawn points from client data, which show an area and were not verified in game.

Q: How do I use the map to farm pet souls?

Pick the zone with the most pets for the family you want, open it, and collect the souls of every pet listed there on the same trip. Souls drop on the ground and must be picked up, and drop rates are not published.
