This AION 2 pet transform calculator answers one question: how many souls does an ordinary pet still need before it reaches level 3? According to the community record and several guides, Transform is unlocked at level 3. Level abilities in the record run Mount at level 1, Mount Glide at level 2 and Transform at level 3, although video guides disagree on the exact level that adds gliding.

Search for a pet, choose its current level and enter the souls you hold. Your level and soul count are shared with the Pet Library, so a pet you already tracked there is prefilled. Changes you make here are written back to the same browser storage.

Reading the result

An ordinary pet needs 5 souls to unlock, 25 more for level 2 and 75 more for level 3, which is 105 in total. The big number is the sum of the steps you have not finished, minus the souls in your inventory, and it never drops below zero. The step table shows each cost, a running total from level 0 and whether that step is done at your current level. Pet Insight versus Genus Insight

Pet Insight is the pet's own level from 1 to 3 and is the level this tool uses. Genus Insight is a separate system fed by pet EXP, so do not mix the two when you plan souls.
